Santorini sunrise !

There is a certain light on this island…perhaps all Aegean islands, but certainly Santorini. Its world famous at sunset, but most tourists are too tired, blissfully asleep or hung-over to see it at day break. This is a real shame because although sunsets are magical, day break is sublime.

Coffee in hand, sitting back on the veranda and watching a ship silently passing…..morning light bathing it in a golden glow.

This one (my favorite) is not the largest ship around, but one of the most elegant….

Don’t you think?

hey dad?
