Oia Santorini – dreaming of a different life

Oia Santorini – a note book about life in Oia

Santorini dreaming !

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Mark Twain ii

The image above was taken only days ago….but I had dreamed of the scene for 20 years. The dream was real all that time. It wasn’t a big dream, it wasn’t an extravagant dream. It was a simple dream…. of a different life!

  2. Thank you Palema & welcome !

  3. Thank you for the inspiration you have given to Alycia and Robert on their recent trip to your wonderful shop, many kind words were spoken about your family.

    • Helen thank you for your comments…meeting Alycia and Robert was a total pleasure. We hope their visit was one of many to come and hope you join them too ;-)
      Best from Oia !

  4. I came across this post a couple years ago while researching wedding information, and the fact that I just recommended it to someone now tells me what an impression it made. Realizing a dream of 20 years is such an evocative statement! I’m sure your testimony touches most people as deeply as it did me.
